Célébration du 180e anniversaire | Eta. 1846

Welcome Message

01 April 2026

We are delighted and excited to welcome you to the launching of our new website. The wait is over! Months of hard work and passion of the IT team have led to this significant moment.

I would like to thank in particular two Grade 13 students, Fadyah Munglah and Alizah Bhugaloo and their educator Mr Cedric Lee, without whom this digital home would not have been possible.

Our website has been designed to provide a central hub for communication and give a glimpse into the school’s culture, ethos and achievements. It helps build a strong supportive community by connecting parents, staff and students through shared resources, event updates and news.

We all know how communication and interaction are vital for maintaining human connection in this digital age. We hope the website will be mobile-friendly and a channel for support and feedback among users.

The IT team has ambitious projects of setting a student-teacher portal and a parent- admin portal to offer quick access to a calendar to keep families updated on upcoming events and holidays. It is an ongoing process.

But most importantly is that we count on each and everyone of the school community for your contribution to the continuous updating of the website to keep it lively as a reference tool. Parents and students, kindly share with us your school experience, to provide an authentic look to our website. Please email your contribution to Mrs Cyndie at loretocollegeportlouis@gmail.com
